Revati is a representative of many an independent minded modern women, who fail to realise their expectations from their married lives. In the process, she experiences spells of loneliness and is driven to dispair. But instead of destroying the relationship, or continuing to live on a miserable existence, she tries to find out a mutually acceptable solution and emerges a stronger person who is able to demonstrate to her partner how they can follow their own individual paths and still be together with better mutual understanding.
The tense of the story consists of only about three days of Revati’s life. But Revati takes the reader almost 25 years back on flashbacks and the story ends on a positive note in the present.
